Community Giving

Over the past two years, through Holiday Market admission fees, and our partnership with Upslope Brewery, Firefly Handmade Markets has originated charitable contributions to our local community in excess of $15,000. Recipients included:

• There With Care

• Colorado Flood Relief

• The American Red Cross

• Boulder Valley Humane Society

• OpenArts

• Junior Firefly

Many Firefly artisans also joined in these charitable efforts.

 

In addition, once again in 2015, Firefly Handmade will discount booth fees by 10% for artisans who have established, or agree to establish, programs of donating a portion of their sales to charitable organizations (full details are available on the Artisan Application form). It is our hope that in this way we will encourage/reward our artisans to give back to the community that supports their work.
